Finley
was bred by Michael and Hazel Cannon. We were going to have a bitch
pup but Finley just kept taking our eye. So we have yet another boy.
Finley
is very naughty. He is gradually getting through all the wooden uprights
on the picket fencing around the boys pen. And I know he has Australian
blood in him but I think he must have some kangaroo in him the way
he can jump.
Although he is very naughty at home, in the show
ring he is very well behaved.
He has had numerous placings at
Championship and Open shows, including eight first places at Championship
shows in 2006.
In January 2007 Finley gained enough points to
be awarded his Junior Warrant. A first for us and a first for his
breeders.
Unfortunately in Summer 2009 Finley had
an accident and has had the end of his tail amputated. This means
he will not be able to be shown anymore as his tail is too short.
He is changing his career and will be training to be an Agility dog.
